Guinea is located in West Africa. The culture is rich and diversely supported by the people. There are four regions and each region has its different language, music, song and dance. The capital of Guinea is Conakry. The 2nd largest city in Guinea is Kankan who is populated by the Maninka ethnic group, which also speaks the dialect Maninka. Arts, Culture and Religion are a beautiful component for great living within the community. In Kankan, The culture is represented by the Djely families and the traditional drumming and dance group called, Gnankoumandouwa.

Monthly Come to Guinea Conversations ~ are open discussion-gatherings for those interested in joining our 20 day Arts & Cultural Excursion to travel to Kankan, Guinea. Program dates are December 13th – January 1st & January 5th - 24th.
We welcome you to meet your Holiday hosts and ask many questions about your upcoming trip to Guinea! Once you are registered, you will receive important information and step-by-step guidance. We can assist you with this process.
We will walk every step with you, by offering advocacy and follow-up to complete all travel requirements, Such as; purchasing your airfare, travel immunizations and VISA to Conakry, Guinea.
