Travel to Guinea

Due to COVID-19, our 2020-2021 Travel to Guinea is on hold until further notice.

Guinea is located in West Africa. The culture is rich and diversely supported by the people. There are four regions and each region has its different language, music, song and dance. The capital of Guinea is Conakry. The 2nd largest city in Guinea is Kankan who is populated by the Maninka ethnic group, which also speaks the dialect Maninka. Arts, Culture and Religion are a beautiful component for great living within the community. In Kankan, The culture is represented by the Djely families and the traditional drumming and dance group called, Gnankoumandouwa.
